New trailer released for Remedy's FBC: Firebreak coming this summer

Remedy released a new trailer for the upcoming three-player multiplayer game FBC: Firebreak last night, which can be viewed here. The company also announced that the game will be released in the summer of 2025. We expect the game to arrive in Q3, but it could still be available as early as Q2.
The press release also provided a bit more information about the monetization plans for the game. All future playable content, including new Jobs, will be free. Players will have the option to purchase cosmetics, but none of these items will affect gameplay. More details will be shared in the future. It was already known that FBC: Firebreak is Remedy’s first self-published game and will be available on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. A mid-priced title, FBC: Firebreak will also be available day one via PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra and Premium).
This year, the release of FBC: Firebreak is a key short-term driver for the Remedy stock, but in terms of medium-term value creation, Control 2 is a much more important project. In our view, at the current valuation of Remedy's share, expectations for FBC: Firebreak are modest, so there is room for potential positive surprises.
