For financial companies, 2025 has been very positive in terms of the operating environment, with strong capital market development and stabilized interest rates. And if we were to refrain from buying now because the share price is high, that would indicate that the company’s management does not believe in its own goals. Nordea’s goal is an EPS of 2 euros in 2030. It is certainly worth buying at current prices if that goal is realized.

I would note, however, that reducing the number of shares makes it easier to reach that 2 euro earnings per share. Surely the reduction in the share base has been taken into account when forecasts were made.
