Nothing particularly surprising, but the last slide was interesting: the market target level at which PYN would exit Vietnam has apparently been raised relatively recently (today?) to 3200 points based on current development (was it 2500 earlier?). A question from the audience was also raised about where they would move next (if it happens, e.g., in 3-5 years). The answer was that no mapping has been done and it will be assessed based on the market situation at that time when they are closer to the target levels. P.s. Don’t ask how that slide should be interpreted more precisely, I can’t say

When we chose Vietnam as the target country for PYN Elite about ten years ago, we set a long-term index target of 2,500 points for the Vietnamese stock exchange. We have now decided to raise our VN-index target level to 3,200 points. Currently, the VN-index is at 1,650 points. I have tried to be present at these PYN presentations and I liked that this trade fair presentation took a fresh approach and didn’t repeat the old one.  These future predictions are often painted with a broad brush and one should approach them with a certain reservation, as it is a form of marketing.  So, on the left side of the figure is the present moment; VN-index 1650, P/E 13.9, P/B 1.9  In the presentation, Peta stated that they expect an average earnings growth of 18% per year for the coming years, though varying annually. Vietnam’s exports to the United States grew by 28 percent in January–October compared to last year, reaching new record levels. Growth was particularly driven by textiles, electronics, and machinery, in addition to strong increases in exports of toys, sports products, and agricultural and aquaculture products. In Vietnam, the manufacturing industry continued to grow in November, even though storms, among other things, disrupted supply chains. The PMI fell slightly to 53.8, but still indicated relatively strong growth. New orders and production grew, and exports rose to a 15-month high. Storm-related delays slightly hampered manufacturing, but companies nevertheless hired more staff and increased their purchases.
