Ambea signs agreement for new care home in Denmark

AMBEAPress release2026-06-15 14:00

Ambea has, through its Danish company Altiden, entered into an agreement to establish a new care home in Nivå in Fredensborg Municipality, Denmark. The facility will comprise 88 places and is expected to be ready for occupancy in 2028.

The agreement is part of Ambea's continued growth in Denmark and strengthens the Group's presence in a market with a long-term growing need for elderly care. At the same time, the establishment will give more older people access to modern living environments with high quality, security and the possibility of individually tailored care.

This is the third care home contract Ambea has signed following the Danish Elderly Care Act, which was introduced in the summer of 2025. The law provides Ambea with good conditions for expansion through long-term agreements and direct collaboration with Danish municipalities - creating a stable market for establishing modern care homes.

The project is carried out in collaboration with Fredensborg Municipality, MT Højgaard Denmark and Northern Horizon.
