Here are Joni’s comments on Digia’s expected profit warning (negari).  We still consider the company’s risk profile to be among the lowest in the sector, and one expected profit warning in a weak market cycle does not change the long-term investment story. Yesterday, a single trade of 30,000 shares was executed. Approximately 0.1% of the company’s shares changed hands in the trade. The seller must have been one of the top 50 shareholders. Otherwise, yesterday was just normal small-scale trading. I wouldn’t hint at the use of insider information just yet.

Analyst Joni wrote a month ago like this: “However, a clear profit warning risk for the end of the year limits the strongest buying interest. In the big picture, however, the company’s risk profile is among the lowest in the sector. In summary, we see the fair value range of the share as 6.8–8.2 euros per share.” And the profit warning states: “Digia expects EBITA operating profit to strengthen in the second half of the year, but estimates that the full-year EBITA operating profit will remain below last year’s level.” I cannot access quarterly forecasts, but apparently it hit Inderes’ expectations

If you look at Digia’s share price and daily volume over a 1-month or 3-month horizon, you can notice that yesterday was already a clearly anomalous day in terms of volume (without any announcements). It could be a coincidence, but hardly .
