European Hospital Orders Nexstim NBS 6 System
Nexstim Plc (”Nexstim” or ”Company”) has received an order for an NBS 6 system from a hospital in Europe. The customer is an existing Nexstim user and will utilize the system primarily for pre-surgical brain mapping but may expand their use to include therapy applications at a later time.
The NBS 6 system is CE marked for the pre-procedural mapping associated with motor and speech functions of the brain. The NBS 6 system is also CE-marked for the treatment of major depressive disorder, chronic neuropathic pain, as well as for the post-operative rehabilitation of motor deficits of the upper limb after tumor surgery.
The NBS 6 is a new combination system built on Nexstim's unique, clinically established E-field navigated TMS technology. Its modular system concept enables customers to expand system capabilities over time and tailor functionality according to their clinical and research needs.
