Enersense International operates in the industrial sector. The company's specialist expertise is found in project management for major industrial projects, which mainly includes design and construction, planning, logistics and administration. In addition to the main business, staffing and personnel management are offered. The company operates on a global level, with the Nordic and Baltic countries as home markets.

Here is a company preview report on Enersense from Aapeli, as the company releases its results on May 7.  We estimate that the company’s market situation has remained good in its key market segments. In our view, however, the company’s revenue development will be more heavily weighted towards H2, reflecting which we have made timing adjustments to our forecasts for the current year. We also estimate that cost inflation will erode the company’s profitability, leading us to make slight negative adjustments to our earnings forecasts for the coming years. Despite this, we see the expected return based on earnings growth in the coming years as very attractive and the recent share price decline as unjustified. Enersense’s share price has continued to remain under pressure, and one reason could be the cost pressure on Enersense’s EBITDA highlighted by SEB in its earnings season preview: H1 will be clearly slower than H2/26, as project execution will accelerate during the latter half of the year. Our Q1 adjusted EBITDA estimate is EUR 0.4m, and EUR 19.7m for FY/26 (guidance EUR 19-23m). 2027E-28E topline growth and EBITDA margin are supported by increasing end-user activity and Enersense’s own Value Uplift programme. I have also assumed that the roast and the share price performance correlate positively. At the very least, few CEOs enjoy public humiliation. Earlier, Holopainen was dumping shares heavily. Now, the 100k share buyback wasn’t enough to support the stock, so there has clearly been pressure. On Monday, April 20th, there was a clear volume spike (~117k), which may have marked an exit. Support was found at the €3 level. In the AGM presentation, it was already mentioned in passing that the order backlog will grow in Q1/26.
