Company Announcement, Helsinki, 3 July 2026 at 9 AM (EEST)

Nexstim Receives NBS 6 Therapy System Order from New Customer in the United States

Nexstim Plc (”Nexstim” or ”Company”) has received an order for an NBS 6 from a new customer in the United States. The system will be used for therapeutic applications.

The order comprises an NBS 6 Therapy Base Unit, cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in adults and adolescents and as an adjunct for the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The delivered configuration includes Nexstim’s non-disposable solution with re-usable head trackers, supporting increased sustainability, clinical efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The NBS 6 leverages Nexstim’s proprietary SmartFocus® nTMS technology, which enables accurate and precise targeting of the stimulation location by visualizing the induced electric field in the brain. This supports personalized treatment delivery and reproducibility across therapy sessions, independent of device operator.

Mikko Karvinen, CEO of Nexstim, comments: “We are pleased to welcome this new customer in the United States and to support their efforts in providing advanced neuromodulation therapies to the patients in their community. The United States remains a key market for Nexstim’s therapy business, with a growing number of clinics adopting navigated TMS to enhance treatment outcomes for patients.”
