Tulikivi is a manufacturer of wood-burning stoves. The product range is wide and includes stoves made of soapstone. In addition to the main business, the company also offers sauna heaters adapted for both electric and wood-fired saunas, as well as interior stones for kitchens, bathrooms and saunas. Here is a story from Yle about Tulikivi and its operations in Russia  Summary of the story  Yle’s investigation reveals that since 2023, Tulikivi has wiped almost all mentions of Russia from its investor communications. At the same time, however, Russia has still been a significant market area for Tulikivi in light of financial figures. In December, Yle revealed that Tulikivi had continued exporting its products to Russia, even though the company has communicated since 2022 that it is withdrawing from the country. This came as a surprise to some of Tulikivi’s investors. According to Tulikivi’s CEO, Russia disappeared from the company’s investor communications because the country’s “strategic significance” has changed. Isn’t this reporting a bit premature? The next steps before the permit decision is made are:  Statement from the ELY Centre. The application and EIA report are made available for public inspection.  At least the application has not been made public yet. I would assume Nordic Talc Oy would have issued a statement if the ELY Centre had already provided its statement. So the permit process is still ongoing.

Don’t talk nonsense. Give at least one fact to support your fairy tales, please.

I don’t know, but in Tulikivi’s case, the exit may have been slowed down (vs. SRV, Nokian Tyres…), because there is no buyer for the business if product deliveries cease. If the operations are simply shut down, as Tulikivi will likely have to do, the money will be left behind the border with potentially other penalties on top.
