Tecnotree operates in the IT sector. The company specializes in the development of digital communication solutions. The services include, for example, business process services and subscription management for corporate customers in telecom and other digital service providers. Operations are held on a global level, with the largest presence in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Just chiming in, but those Vilienius’s subscriptions remained unpaid. As I understand it, Fitzroy eventually took that subscription allocation, from which they now subscribed a part.

Do you remember how that went with Vilenius, did the money also change hands, i.e., that 2 million, or did it remain unpaid even though he made an entry?

Fitzroy has subscribed to 45 convertible bonds at a price of 116,666 EUR each. It would seem that a contractual penalty is included in that. 45 x 16,666 euros, which is 749,970 euros. It remains to be seen if there will be more subscriptions and contractual penalties later. I don’t think there will be. Tecnotree should definitely issue a stock exchange release, because the subscription price differs from what was previously announced. This is already good news, and it will get better if there are no additional subscriptions. Vilenius subscribed to those same ones at the time with an announcement like this.

Well, that’s what it looks like. It seemed that if Fitzroy commits 10 million, then the contractual penalty is significantly smaller.

Of course, if your trust in the management is zero, then it’s not worth wasting time   In my opinion, Tecnotree has significantly improved its communication during the year, and credit for this certainly partly goes to the discussions on this forum. As a basic interim report, the presentation’s informativeness is at a high level. Few small companies on the Helsinki stock exchange, in my opinion, offer the same.  For me, the picture of how big a change Tecnotree has undergone in the last five years became clearer and more vivid. While it has strongly renewed its offering, it has also cleaned up (e.g., Iran operations) and grown its customer base both qualitatively and quantitatively. It has also significantly streamlined its operations. The management has made strategic choices and actions that inevitably take several years at best. Significant ownership has provided the backing for this; otherwise, it probably wouldn’t have been possible. In the same five-year period, two significant naira devaluations (even compared to the naira’s history) and this year’s exceptionally rapid weakening of the dollar have occurred. The effects of these on the bottom line and cash flow have been truly significant. The inexperience of the management and board in leading a listed company has been evident in their actions, and mistakes have been made. But if one doesn’t look in the rearview mirror, Tecnotree is, in my opinion, at a very interesting point. It has every opportunity for strong, profitable growth over the next five years. Valuation and share price will inevitably follow.
