Consti operates in the construction industry. The company specializes in solutions that involve renovation, installation, procurement, and major restructuring work, from commercial premises to residential buildings. Operations are held on a global level, with the largest presence in the Nordic market. Customers consist of small and medium-sized corporate customers and private actors.

Could the government’s budget session also be a boost for Consti?  Renovation grant for residential buildings for housing companies A temporary energy grant for residential buildings will be introduced to implement measures that improve the energy efficiency of residential buildings. The grant aims to promote energy renovations and repair construction in housing company buildings, and to increase employment in construction. The grant will accelerate the implementation of projects already in the planning stage and launch new projects. The grant applies to renovations and major repairs that improve the energy efficiency of the building. Repair construction will also be promoted by improving the state guarantee for housing company renovation loans and by increasing the housing reserve. A total of 110 million euros will be reserved for grants for the years 2026–2027.

Here is Atte’s preview report, as Consti releases its Q1 results on Wednesday, April 29.  We expect revenue growth to be moderate and operating profit to settle at zero level during the seasonally weak first quarter. In our view, the valuation has turned attractive again following the decline in the share price. However, we have slightly lowered our margin forecasts for the coming years as the market remains sluggish, which is likely to keep competition in the industry tight. We adjust our target price to EUR 12.0 (prev. EUR 12.5) and upgrade our recommendation to Accumulate (prev. Reduce). Here are Atte’s comments on Consti being selected for the development phase of the Pitäjänmäki primary school, daycare center, library, and youth center renovation and expansion project. The total value of the project is estimated at approximately 44 million. Here is the company report from Atte right after Consti’s Q4 results.  Consti’s Q4 result was in line with our expectations, although the guidance for the current year was slightly softer than we had predicted. We have further raised our revenue growth forecasts for the coming years slightly due to the significant scale of the Government Palace project. On the other hand, we have slightly lowered our relative profitability forecast as the company’s project portfolio will be more heavily weighted toward limited-risk alliance projects in the future. Following the recent share price rise, in our view, the most significant upside potential has been exhausted in the short term. We maintain our target price at EUR 12.5 and our recommendation at Reduce. The company has continued its disciplined bidding activities; furthermore, the competitive situation in the market remains tight. Due to the tight competition, the company has continued to invest in bidding and negotiation activities. The order backlog decreased to EUR 208 million at the end of Q4 (end of Q4’24: EUR 240.1 million), which is 13.3% below the comparison period. It should be noted, however, that the company will record the renovation portion of the Government Palace project, approximately EUR 112 million, in the order backlog for the first quarter of the current year. Here are Evli’s fresh comments on Consti’s performance.  In their view, Q4 was overall okay; revenue and earnings were slightly better than expected, and they also highlighted that group-level costs were lower than estimated. However, in Evli’s opinion, the guidance for this year was soft. Revenue slightly exceeded our estimates, while the result was in line with our expectations. In contrast, Consti’s order backlog decreased compared to the comparison period, although it remains at a moderate level. The Board’s dividend proposal, for its part, fully met our expectations. Guidance for the current year suggests that the result level will remain practically unchanged (2026e: EUR 10.9 million) and reflects a still cautious market outlook.
