<pre>Lysaker,&nbsp;2&nbsp;April 2025 Reference is made to the stock&nbsp;exchange announcement made&nbsp;on 25 November 2024 relating to Aker&nbsp;Capital AS' ("AkerCapital") total return swap ("TRS") agreements with financial exposure to 22,155,088 underlying shares in AMSC&nbsp;ASA ("AMSC").&nbsp;Reference&nbsp;is further&nbsp;made to the stock exchange&nbsp;announcement made by&nbsp;AMSC on&nbsp;1 April 2025&nbsp;regarding&nbsp;proposal to&nbsp;distribute&nbsp;91,422,601 shares in Solstad Maritime Holding AS ("SMH") as dividend-in-kind to its shareholders in connection with the contemplated listing of SMH on Euronext Oslo&nbsp;Børs. The shares in SMH are linked to the shares in&nbsp;AMSC, cf. the Market Abuse Regulation article 19. Aker Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aker&nbsp;ASA&nbsp;and&nbsp;close associate of Frank O. Reite&nbsp;(board member in AMSC), has&nbsp;today exercised&nbsp;a&nbsp;right under&nbsp;the TRS agreements&nbsp;to assume&nbsp;the&nbsp;SMH shares&nbsp;that are to&nbsp;be received by the TRS counterparties&nbsp;as dividend-in-kind&nbsp;from&nbsp;AMSC&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;hedge shares held by&nbsp;them&nbsp;in connection with the TRS&nbsp;agreements.
