<div class="abstract">Nacka, Sweden, August 3, 2023: Atlas Copco has acquired Climorent, a provider of specialty rental solutions for industrial cooling applications, in Catalonia, Spain.</div>The company has 15 employees and is based in Barcelona. In 2022, the business had revenues of approximately 2 MEUR (21 MSEK*).Climorent mainly serves customers in general industry, including chemical and food and beverage industry."Climate change is fueling increased demand for efficient cooling solutions in industrial and other applications," said Andrew Walker, Business Area President Power Technique. "Climorent has a strong local footprint within rental industrial cooling solutions and has potential for further growth."The purchase price is not disclosed.The business will become part of the Specialty Rental Division within the Power Technique Business Area.*Based on the average exchange rate in 2022
