<div class="mfn-preamble"><p><strong>OptiCept Technologies AB (publ) announces that Jörgen Durban, who was elected as a board member at the extraordinary general meeting held on 18 December 2025, has informed the company that he will not be assuming his position.</strong></p></div><div class="mfn-body"><p>The decision has been made for personal reasons and at his own request. Following this change, the Board of Directors consists of six members. The Board assesses that the change does not affect the company’s strategy or operational activities.</p><p>Jörgen Durban comments:</p><p><em>“I have decided to step down from my assignment as a board member due to private reasons. My decision is mainly based on the fact that my current commitments are taking more time than planned. As I have not participated in any meetings or taken part in the company’s material, the assignment has not affected the company’s work.
