21 May 2025 - BMO Entreprenør AS ("BMO"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Endúr ASA
("Endúr"), has today been awarded a new contract for Troms Fylkeskommune, worth
a total of approximately NOK 110 million.
BMO will act as main contractor for the rehabilitation and expansion of bicycle
and pedestrian lanes on The Tromsø Bridge (No.: Tromsøbrua).
The project involves widening the Northern bicycle lane from 2 to 2.5 meters,
including dismantling, extension and reinstallation of approximately 1,016
cantilevered steel brackets. New deck plates will be installed according to
technical specifications. Both the Northern and Southern bridge wings will be
upgraded with cathodic protection systems and moisture insulation. On the
Southern pedestrian lane, adhesive anchors will be replaced with through bolts.
A new lighting system will also be established, including power distribution and
cable routing on new cable ladders. The contract is a unit price execution
contract.
Work will commence once the agreement is signed and required guarantees and
insurance certificates are provided. The bridge will be closed to vehicular and
public transport during three defined periods in 2025 and 2026, while remaining
open to pedestrians and cyclists. Final completion is scheduled within Q3 2026.
