Hammertech AS Achieves 9COM Qualification and Approved Vendor Status with Saudi Aramco
Norway - Hammertech AS, a subsidiary of Nordic Technology Group AS (NTG), is very pleased to announce that Hammertech AquaField multiphase meters have successfully achieved 9COM certification and registration with Saudi Aramco, one of the world's leading integrated energy and chemicals companies.
This significant milestone is the culmination of an extensive qualification process, including successful completion of:
- Technical approval - Blind testing overseen by DNV in the Netherlands, confirming the performance and reliability of AquaField Green.
- Operational approval - Field trials in Saudi Arabia, validating the technology under real-world operating conditions.
- Audit approval - A comprehensive audit and evaluation to be an approved vendor, conducted by Aramco Overseas Company (AOC).
The 9COM certification grants Hammertech’s AquaField Green multiphase meters formal approval for procurement across Saudi Aramco’s businesses, paving the way for large-scale deployment to support Aramco’s digitalization initiatives, including well-level real-time measurements and production optimization.
