Joakim Wahlquist appointed new CFO of Cavotec effective May 1st, 2023
Joakim Wahlquist has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Cavotec Group effective May 1st, 2023. Mr. Wahlquist will join Cavotec on March 8th, 2023 as CFO designate and will replace the current CFO Glenn Withers. Mr. Withers will continue to support Cavotec during his notice period.
Mr. Wahlquist will report to Cavotec Group CEO David Pagels and will be a member of the Cavotec Management Team.
Mr. Wahlquist was most recently Senior Advisor to the Group CFO of Scania CV AB. Prior to that Mr. Wahlquist has held Managing Director and CFO positions in different countries and has a long international experience with companies like Scania and EF Education.
“In his career Mr. Wahlquist has been actively driving transformation projects similar to those Cavotec is now undertaking. Although we are very sad for Glenn’s decision to leave Cavotec, we believe that Mr. Wahlquist will add great value to the Management Team and will play a key role in turning Cavotec into a profitable company” says Mr. Pagels.
“I am very sad to leave the company for family reasons. It was not an easy decision but I am confident that Mr. Wahlquist has skills and experience to make a significant contribution. I have no doubt that he will be a great addition to the Management Team" says Mr. Withers.

Mr. Wahlquist is a Swedish citizen and holds a Master of Science and business administration.
