<div class="abstract">Knowit has won the assignment to become supplier of the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs' new visa system. Knowit won the assignment in cooperation with Gofore. The value of the project is estimated at 70 million Euros over a period of seven years.</div>The development project includes system development, maintenance, support and operational services as well as a possible transfer of the system to a cloud platform.- We are very proud to have won the assignment for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the opportunity to participate in the development of systems that are of great importance to the whole of Finland together with our long-term partner Gofore. The project is an important part of societal development and is well in line with our vision of contributing to a sustainable and humane society through digitization and innovation, says Tapio Koivisto, CEO of Knowit Solutions Oy.Knowit participated in the bidding process for the framework agreement together with Gofore. Gofore acts as Knowit's resource subcontractor in the project.The visa system is a critical and central system for Finland as a state, and the development of the new platform creates the conditions that includes, for instance, a more efficient process for workrelated immigration.
