<div class="abstract">NCC has been commissioned by Kåpan Fastigheter to construct a new police station for the Swedish Police Authority in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The project is a turnkey contract with an order value of approximately SEK 440 million, and completion is scheduled during 2028.</div><img width="435" src="https://mb.cision.com/Public/197/4167439/a1d2f97d21e96d7d_800x800ar.jpg" height="290" alt="">The new police station will be built adjacent to the Paradiset waterpark in central Örnsköldsvik and will house offices, meeting rooms, exercise facilities, goods reception, a workshop, garage and other areas of operation across its approximately 10,000 square meters."The Swedish Police Authority is one of our most important tenants, and we are proud to contribute to its vital role in society. As a property owner, we have a long-term responsibility to provide functional, safe, and secure premises across the country. This means that we will have the opportunity to utilize NCC's entire breadth and our collective experience of classified buildings of various types," says Niklas Sparw, Head of NCC Building Sweden.The building will be Miljöbyggnad Silver certified, ensuring high environmental performance. The certification covers the building's energy, climate footprint, indoor and outdoor environment, and circularity.The order value is approximately SEK 440 million and will be registered in the NCC Building Sweden business area in the second quarter of 2025.
