<div class="abstract">The medical technology company Polar Cool AB (publ) continues to establish PolarCap® in Swedish hockey. The company has signed a three-year commercial agreement with HockeyEttan club Köping HC.</div>PolarCool develops and markets the product PolarCap® which alleviates the effects of concussion. The primary users of PolarCap® include sports clubs, organizations, and facilities in contact sports such as ice hockey, rugby and handball. PolarCool has recently landed most of its strategic agreements with several major European clubs yet aims to continue to broaden its presence in both higher and lower divisions in the Swedish domestic market. HockeyEttan is the third division in Swedish hockey.Köping HC's Chairman of the Board Anders Näsström comments;- Protecting the well-being of our players is very important to us at Köping HC. Head injuries and their consequences can cause significant and, above all, long-term problems for the affected player. We therefore see great value in being able to provide PolarCap® System. PolarCool will also educate the club and thereby raise the level of knowledge regrading head injuries.PolarCool's CEO Erik Andersson comments;- It is gratifying that Köping HC chooses to include PolarCap® System in its routines for treating concussions. Offering the PolarCap® System at all levels of sport is part of PolarCool's long-term strategy. Today we have a league solution with the SHL and it is positive that several clubs in both HockeyAllsvenskan and HockeyEttan goes the same way. Broad support at club level is a prerequisite for a league solution in these leagues as well.
