poLight ASA secures first design-win for an industrial endoscope application

poLight

Tønsberg, Norway 16 December 2025 – poLight ASA (OSE-PLT) today announced an important milestone with the integration of TLens® into an industrial endoscope application. This marks the entry of TLens® into a new market segment. The first few hundred TLens® units have been ordered and will be delivered in Q4 2025.

According to industry forecasts (Global Growth Insights), the global industrial endoscope market is currently valued at USD 1.05bn with an expected CAGR of 4.2 per cent. Growth will be driven by increasing demand for non-destructive testing and visual inspection in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, energy, construction, and manufacturing. Technology advancements in imaging are propelling market adoption worldwide.

“This is another example of the diverse use cases where our technology can play a vital role and contribute to the growth of poLight’s high-value industrial market segment,” said Dr. Øyvind Isaksen, CEO of poLight. “While we expect this application to drive relatively small volumes initially, it can potentially represent an important step forward.”
“We have been searching for a technology that enables focus adjustment in our camera probes, which must be compact and robust enough for use in our inspection cameras;” said Zhang Qi, product director of Dellon.“TLens® is an excellent fit due to its small size and durability, and by stacking three TLens® units, we can achieve the required focusing range. Initial customer feedback has been promising.”
