Mycket trevliga nyheter! Dock, som du konstaterade, verkar det inte ha så stor betydelse ännu när det gäller euro. 2024 var Biohits omsättning från Finland totalt 0,2 miljoner euro.

Här är Anttis kommentarer angående den senaste GastroPanel-studien.  Biohit meddelade på måndagen om en ny klinisk studie som stöder GastroPanel-testets tillförlitlighet när det gäller att utesluta behovet av gastroskopi (magundersökning). Nyheten stöder bolagets tillväxtberättelse och försäljningsargument, men orsakar inga omedelbara förändringar i våra prognoser. Fint att Gastropanel firar 20 år sedan lanseringen i år, så det vore väl på tiden att slå igenom stort

Åtminstone enligt pressmeddelandet:  “Upp till 90 % av gastroskopierna kan undvikas när GastroPanel®-resultatet är normalt.”  Och ännu med VD:ns egna ord (i samma meddelande) samma påstående: Biohits VD Jussi Hahtela: ”Resultaten är mycket tydliga: när GastroPanel®-resultatet är normalt behövs nästan aldrig en gastroskopi. Detta är en betydande vändpunkt, som möjliggör avsevärda kostnadsbesparingar och betydligt kortare köer för endoskopier.” Man måste naturligtvis komma ihåg att vi har hört VD:ars uttalanden förut (Biobone Substitutes, Faron Pharmaceuticals bl.a. om Traumakine osv. osv.). Den här gången låter allt detta verkligen underbart. Naturligtvis finns det alltid en möjlighet att man om några år kommer att förstå att även denna firmas VD:s uttalanden borde ha tagits med en rejäl nypa salt =). Huvudägaren har tankat på sistone med en riktigt stor skopa och insiderköp anses väl allmänt vara ett gott tecken. Enligt min mening låter denna nyhet, eller har åtminstone fåtts att låta, riktigt bra.

Antar du att varje test och behandling som utförs på sjukhus är 100% exakta/framgångsrika? Här har det till exempel under det senaste året kommit många positiva nyheter från studier runt om i världen, där GastroPanel tydligt har befunnits vara en fungerande lösning.
