Verksamhet innehas på global nivå, med huvudkontoret i Göteborg.

Smart Eye har framgångsrikt emitterat en senior icke-säkerställd obligation på 300 miljoner SEK till 3M STIBOR + 7%, vilket vi ser som mycket fördelaktigt med tanke på företagets nuvarande stadium och kassaflödesprofil. Transaktionen stärker materiellt den finansiella positionen, eliminerar all återstående finansieringsrisk inför EU GSR, och ger flexibilitet att agera opportunistiskt. Med denna obligation på plats har företaget helt eliminerat risken för att behöva ytterligare finansiering före break-even, och har även säkrat utrymme för opportunistiska åtgärder om en extraordinär M&A-möjlighet skulle uppstå. Vi förväntar oss dock ingen förvärvsaktivitet på kort sikt.

Jag tycker det är ett positivt tecken att SEB är arrangör av emissionen. Åtminstone min uppfattning är att SEB har en ganska bra historik på emissionsmarknaden och det är ju trots allt en stor bank med bred räckvidd. Det skulle vara en annan sak om det var någon “boutique” (mindre aktör) som arrangerade, t.ex. Pareto, Arctic eller liknande.
