SciBase Holding är verksamt inom medicinteknik. Koncernen är specialiserad inom hantering av cancerdiagnostik, främst inriktat mot behandling och upptäckandet av diverse melanom. Bolaget har utvecklat en elektrisk handhållen prob som analyserar mätsignalen för att upptäcka specifika förändringar i kroppens hudvävnad. Huvudkontoret ligger i Stockholm.

Aktien rusar av någon anledning. Åtminstone ser jag inga nyheter.

Nu söker man tydligen i samband med en nyemission en lösning på denna komplicerade kapitalstruktur på grund av TO2-warrantarna. Var kan man köpa dessa warranter? De låter som en mycket intressant investering om löptiden är så lång.

Tack för insikterna. Kan mer erfarna investerare bedöma hur vanligt det är att tidsintervallet för att utnyttja optioner är satt så långt fram, ända till våren 2029? Det känns som en väldigt lång tidsperiod. Detta är verkligen ett stort hinder för kursuppgången, särskilt när det finns en så enorm mängd optioner att lösa in. Eller hur ser ni andra på saken?

Intressant företag och i och med att melanom blir vanligare borde marknaden växa. Jag ägde själv en liten post av detta, men de där warranterna verkar förhindra en större kursuppgång. Dessutom har omsättningstillväxten varit så pass långsam att en nyemission (och fler warranter) verkar vara på gång igen mot slutet av året. Antalet anställda har nu ökat något, uppenbarligen har försäljningsorganisationen i USA stärkts?

Ja, uppföljningen avslutades tyvärr för en tid sedan, så vi har inga färska kommentarer tillgängliga. Om man funderar på aktiens prisbildning är denna punkt från uppföljningens avslutande mycket viktig att komma ihåg:  We highlight that the high number of TO2 warrants (strike price SEK 0.42) has a significant impact on the valuation of the company and investors should evaluate the warrants’ claim on the company’s equity value when assessing the valuation of the stock.
