Rapalas början av året gick bättre än våra förväntningar trots utmaningarna i verksamhetsmiljön, och bolaget gav tydliga tecken på att vändningen i rapporten fortskrider. Värderingen av aktien är inte utmanande i förhållande till bolagets potential på längre sikt, men den ansträngda balansräkningen och riskerna orsakade av marknadsstörningar får oss att tills vidare att finna oss fortfarande vara försiktiga gentemot aktien.

Rapala H1'25-förhandskommentar: Tullbekymmer vållar huvudbry

Rapala publicerar sin H1-rapport onsdagen den 23 juli, enligt vår bedömning på eftermiddagen. Bolagets vinstvändning visade i fjol tecken på försiktiga framsteg. Vi väntar oss att samma sak har fortsatt gälla för årets första kvartal, men att den positiva utvecklingen har avbrutits under H1:s andra hälft på grund av marknadsrevideringar orsakade av USA:s tullpolitik. Säsongsmässigt är H1 mycket viktig för Rapala och den fastställer på ett svag, ömtåligt sätt riktningen för hela året.

Agreed! Rapala has compromised too much for mass-produced goods, plastic, and disposable trends. I would gladly see the brand proud of its history and craftsmanship. Rapala could very well be a slightly more expensive premium goods manufacturer.

13 Fishing could be a big name in the future. I went to Ruoto and picked up a couple of Omen Black rods from a Black Friday offer to test them out… they are really good products.
