Appear ASA - Results for the first quarter of 2026

Oslo, 29 April 2026, Appear ASA (Appear, OSE: APR), a global leader in live production technology powering Tier 1 sports production and events worldwide, today reports revenues of NOK 231.7 million in the first quarter of 2026, representing growth of 42.6% year-on-year. The company reiterates the full-year 2026 revenue guidance of approximately NOK 1.0 billion.

Underlying EBITDAC1 amounted to NOK 25.9 million, corresponding to a margin of 11.2%, while EBIT was NOK 36.4 million, delivering an EBIT margin of 15.7%. Profit for the period was NOK 28.2 million, and earnings per share were NOK 0.65.

The quarterly growth was led by the Americas region, where revenues increased 54% year-on-year to NOK 143.6 million, supported by strong demand from broadcasters, service providers and sports leagues.

“Q1 was a strong start to the year for Appear, with solid revenue growth across all our core regions and particularly strong momentum in the Americas. Significant orders from global strategic customers reflect the continued trust broadcasters and sports organisations place in Appear as live production becomes more complex, global and cost-sensitive. Live production simply can’t fail, and our customers know they can put their trust in us,” says Thomas Bostrøm Jørgensen, CEO of Appear.

Proving the effectiveness of its land-and-expand strategy and the position as a long-term infrastructure partner, Appear secured several strategically important contracts in the quarter, including infrastructure expansions with leading broadcasters, deployment commitments across multiple stadiums from a major sports league, and continued adoption of the X Platform for Tier 1 football production in EMEA.

For 2026, Appear maintains its full-year revenue guidance of approximately NOK 1.0 billion, implying year-on-year growth of around 25%. The outlook is supported by strong order visibility, continued expansion with strategic customers across North America and EMEA, and a robust pipeline of major global sports events throughout the year.

“We enter the rest of 2026 with strong momentum, deepening customer relationships across all regions. While long-term sports league partnerships with recurring upgrades between seasons remain our most important business driver, we are also excited about the series of major global live sports events taking place this year. This summer, the FIFA World Cup comes to the Americas, and Appear will be at the heart of it. It marks a milestone for Appear, both commercially and in terms of our global profile,” concludes Appear’s CEO.
