Clavister Awarded Initial Contract for Cross Domain Solution Integrated in Advanced European Defence System
Örnsköldsvik, Sweden – 17 February, 2026 – Clavister, a leader in European cybersecurity for mission-critical applications, today announces that the company has been awarded an initial contract for the new cross domain solution being developed in cooperation with Saab.
The solution will be integrated into an advanced defence system developed and manufactured by a European defence contractor, with the end customer being the armed forces of a Western European country. The cross domain solution enables secure information exchange between systems operating at different security levels and domains, supporting high-assurance operations in demanding defence environments.
The initial order comprises a limited number of units with an order value in the low single-digit MSEK range. Deliveries under the contract are planned to commence in the second quarter of 2026 and continue throughout the year. Clavister expects additional follow-on orders for the same solution from the defence contractor over time.
“This contract marks an important step for our joint cross domain solution development with Saab and demonstrates growing demand for trusted, European-developed cybersecurity components in advanced defence systems,” says John Vestberg, CEO of Clavister. “Being selected for integration into a modern weapon system is a strong validation of our technology and our ability to meet stringent defence and security requirements.”
The contract further strengthens Clavister’s position as a supplier of high-assurance cybersecurity solutions for defence platforms and mission-critical systems, and supports the company’s strategy of long-term growth through cooperation with leading European defence and system integrators.
