Kesko är verksamt inom detaljhandelsbranschen. Bolaget erbjuder servicetjänster främst inriktat mot livsmedels-, bygg- och teknikbranschen. Störst verksamhet återfinns inom utveckling av butikskoncept, kanalförsäljning, E-handelssidor och affärsmodeller. Majoriteten av verksamheten återfinns på den nordiska och baltiska marknaden. Huvudkontoret ligger i Helsingfors.

Här är Rauls kommentarer om dessa fastighetsförsäljningar.  Kesko meddelade igår att de säljer tio fastigheter för dagligvaruhandel till svenska Prisma Properties AB för ett skuldfri köpeskilling på cirka 59 MEUR. Arrangemanget är i linje med bolagets strategi, där det strävar efter att återinvestera kapital i nya handelsplatsinvesteringar. Affären är relativt liten i Kesko-mått mätt, och nyheten har ingen väsentlig inverkan på våra prognoser.                   Inderes              Kesko myi kiinteistöjään noin 60 MEUR:lla - Inderes    Kauppa on Keskon mittakaavassa suhteellisen pieni, eikä uutisella ole oleellista vaikutusta ennusteisiimme.

Keskos handlare anser att aktiekursen är förmånlig och förtroendet för en kursuppgång är uppenbart. Hannu Angervuos börstips för nästa år finns inom handelssektorn och livsmedelsföretag. ”Om ekonomin börjar växa är företag inom handelssektorn tydliga vinnare”, konstaterar Angervuo. Handeln med varaktiga konsumtionsvaror har fortfarande gått svagt, och en återhämtning skulle kunna ge detaljhandeln en måttlig resultatökning. Angervuo betonar att till exempel branschens stora bolag Kesko inte längre är billigt som aktie, om inte dess resultat växer kraftigt nästa år. Historiskt sett är dock aktiekursen på cirka 18 euro mindre än hälften av Keskos kurstopp under coronakrisen. Kauppalehti 7.11
