Netum has won the tender of the Government Shared Services Centre for Finance and HR (Palkeet) for the delivery of an iPaaS (integration Platform as a Service) integration service. The procurement includes licenses for the Frends iPaaS platform, the delivery and implementation of the solution, support and maintenance for the platform and agreed integrations, as well as separately ordered expert services.
The object of the procurement is an iPaaS integration platform service that enables integrations between solutions owned and used by the service centre, interfaces between the service centre and the core operational systems of its client agencies, and the use of programmable interfaces to support the service centre's processes and services.
The Frends iPaaS platform delivered by Netum provides hybrid capabilities, enabling both cloud and on-premises deployments while offering centralised management, monitoring, and automation across all environments. A library of over 300 prebuilt connectors, together with low-code tools, significantly accelerates the implementation of integrations.

The initial contract period is four years, after which the agreement will continue until further notice. The total value of the procurement is approximately EUR 1 million.
The Finnish Government Shared Services Centre for Finance and HR (Palkeet) is a major provider of group services in the administrative branch of the Ministry of Finance. Its goal is to enhance the functionality of public administration by providing high-quality, cost-efficient expert services in financial and HR administration. Finance and HR services are provided to government agencies, institutions, and funds, as well as to approximately 75,000 individual employees, by a team of around 650 professionals.
