GreenMobility: Delivering on new strategy with an agreement with Dutch car-sharing company MyWheels
Today, GreenMobility announced an agreement with the Dutch car-sharing company MyWheels to transfer its customers and employees in the Netherlands. The company states that this will help reduce the costs associated with the closing of its operations in the Netherlands.
This is the first step in delivering on the new strategy announced in December 2023 which, over the coming months, should result in a significant fleet expansion in Copenhagen and the closure and/or divestment of the company’s activities in the Netherlands and Finland.
When the strategy was announced, the company stated that there was some uncertainty on the size of the extraordinary costs to the closing of operations, determined by both the timing and whether it was possible to divest the activities. This news seems to minimize the uncertainty and the size of these costs.
