Diös signs lease agreement with the County Administrative Board of Norrbotten County

It has now been decided that Diös and the County Administrative Board will extend the lease on Stationsgatan in central Luleå. The new agreement covers approximately 7,000 square meters and with the extension, Diös is modernizing the premises.

In the development of the County Administrative Board's premises, modern and more flexible office solutions are created to meet employees’ needs and high security requirements. Part of the development involves converting a large proportion of existing cell offices into open-plan offices with an activity-based way of working. In parallel, the property is undergoing technical investments, including upgrades to the the roof and façade, as well as district heating, district cooling and ventilation systems. In total, Diös invests approximately SEK 111 million at a yield-on-cost of 7.6 percent. The premises are expected to be completed in January 2028.

"Together with the County Administrative Board, we are developing premises that meet high requirements for function, security and workplace environment. It is an important investment where we take a comprehensive approach to both tenant adaptation and the property's technical standard, and in this way create long-term sustainable premises for a socially important business," says Johan Lång, Business Manager, Diös Luleå/Skellefteå.

"The updated premises will give us better conditions for our operations. The spaces are design based on how we actually work today, with a wide range of workplaces and meeting environments. We enjoy Stationsgatan and are happy about the opportunity to continue to develop our operations here," says Elin Bergström, Property Coordinator, County Administrative Board of Norrbotten County.

Diös and the County Administrative Board have signed a six-year green lease agreement with an extension period of six years, which means that the parties jointly plan the areas with the ambition of reducing climate impact and energy use.
