The one-time license fee from the agreement will bring a limited positive financial contribution in this quarter. Effnet’s header compression technology is deployed worldwide across cellular/mobile, satellite, industrial, enterprise and defence-related communications systems. In defence and security environments, including ad-hoc and mobile networks where bandwidth, latency and link reliability can be constrained — such as tactical communications or unmanned aerial vehicles — efficient and robust header compression can help optimise network performance while keeping system resource usage low.
